AIIA MEMBER BENEFITS
As a member of the Alabama Independent Insurance Agents, Inc. (AIIA) you automatically become a member of the national association, Independent Insurance Agents of America (IIAA) and have access to all endorsed services and programs for both associations which include, but are not limited to the following:

ERRORS & OMISSIONS
Every agent knows that E&O insurance is vital to their agency.  That’s why AIIA endorses ERC.  ERC has been the nationally endorsed E&O carrier for many years and offers the broadest coverage on the market, including punitive damages and no Y2K exclusion.  In addition, they have just filed a new policy, The Pinnacle Series, which should be out this fall which would offer a wide variety of individually available coverage units.  Be sure to get a quote from us before you make the very important E&O decision.  There’s a reason that we write 75% of our members and that’s because we have the most comprehensive policy for the best price. Call Kelly Hood at the AIIA office for more information at (205) 326-4129.

PREMIUM FINANCING
AIIA owns a premium finance company called Independent Finance Company.  Independent Finance is an extremely competitive finance company with flexible rate schedules.  Finance agreements are generated on your agency’s computers and money is wire transferred into your agency account.  What could possibly be easier?  For more information on this program, contact Ron Riggins at the AIIA office (205) 326-4129.

MARKET ACCESS
Do you need market access for personal lines?  If so, you should definitely consider the Eagle Agency.  The Eagle Agency is a Managing General Agency (MGA) created exclusively for IIAA (Independent Insurance Agents or America)  members.  It is offered by IIAA through Travelers and Chubb and administered by IIAA’s Agency Administrative Services, (AAS), to provide members easy access to competitive personal lines insurance products. These markets include an Automobile, Homeowners, Homeowners Condominium Policy, and Renters Insurance Coverage. The Eagle Agency program offers commissions along with profit sharing, immediate market access regardless of current volume, and ownership of expirations.

WORK COMP MARKET
Need a work comp market for your accounts under $15,000 in premium?  Look to Small Business Underwriters (SBU), the association’s endorsed work comp carrier.  This market is available to all members and the rates are extremely competitive, not to mention great commission levels.
$10,000 - $15,000 in premium = 9%
$9,999 - $5,000 in premium = 8%
$4,999 - $1 in premium =7%

SBU policies are written on Legions Insurance Company paper, an A rated and admitted carrier.  To sign up for this market, please call Dave Coley with SBU at (800) 323-5161.
