"Virtual University Countdown & Ace Insura"
Join the Virtual University's Bill Wilson in two entertaining and enlightening sessions. "Virtual University Countdown" includes 20 Personal and Commercial Lines coverage situations gleaned from questions posted to IIABA's "Ask an Expert" service. "Ace Insura" includes cases from Bill's popular articles appearing in IIABA's Independent Agent, IA, magazine. If you've never been to one of Bill's courses, you will not want to miss these. Bill proves that insurance education can be tons of fun.

"Apples & Oranges" and "Hidden Treasures"
Consumers are bombarded with ads inviting them to shop their auto rates. However, no mention is made of comparing insurance coverage. "Apples & Oranges" examines some of the most important coverage issues in personal auto insurance and compares the ISO PAP with several non-ISO forms. "Hidden Treasures - Finding Coverage in Exclusions" addresses the fact that coverage is often found in the language of exclusions. This seminar analyzes a wide variety of personal and commercial lines exclusions and the hidden coverage found within them. Mike Edwards is the instructor.

"Advanced Personal Lines Issues" and "Contractual Liability"
"Advanced Personal Lines Issues" will examine numerous personal lines property and liability coverage issues and possible insurance solutions. Session will also discuss potential E&O loss exposures that exist when writing personal lines insurance and step that can be taken to reduce claims against the agency or company. The "Contractual Liability: From Chaos to Coverage" seminar will discuss the problems created when clients enter into contracts or add additional insureds to insurance policies. Participants will analyze significant coverage issues encountered and review examples of hold-harmless and indemnification agreements found in leases and construction contracts.
