ALABAMA PREPARES FOR HURRICANE IVAN

AIIA members must prepare for the coming Hurricane Ivan and the inclement weather associated with this powerful storm that will impact our state. Due to the nature and strength of Ivan, most areas of the state can expect high winds, heavy rain, and flash flooding in some areas. Significant damage is expected. As part of this week’s special edition of the NEWSLINE, AIIA has prepared a helpful disaster guide on Hurricane Preparation and what to do during this unusual storm activity to stay safe. The guidelines are helpful for both your agencies and your homes.

For members in South Alabama areas, please call on us, AIIA and fellow members, if we can be of support and assistance before and after Hurricane Ivan leaves its mark on our state. Our thoughts and prayers are with our members and their customers who are in the path of this Category 5 hurricane. Please take all precautions to stay safe.
